The Answer For You...

The Tori Amos community has no shortage of crazies, victims, off colour sorts, loud mouths and ahem...well weirdos. Just where does the toriphile who respects her music and her style etc. fit in?

And more importantly what happens when you want to have a frank discussion about the disappointments, the mishaps, maybe the poor choices, the songs or albums that don't seem to work, the gossip questions confirmed or answered politely and your opinion wether it is positive or negative without being censored or surrounded by rude cheerleaders?

I look at the very well respected and my personal beloved yessaid and find it sugar coats and censors simple topics that are valid. For example when Tori had her teeth done someone started a thread and people speculated it was another cosmetic move. Seen as gossipy and negative it was thrown into the waste bin. However the facts are this: MOST LIKELY TORI HAD HER TEETH DONE BECAUSE SHE IS AGING. AND WEAR AND TEAR CONSTITUTES DETAL WORK THAT CAN ALTER YOUR TEETH DRAMATICALLY. MAYBE SHE NEEDED IMPLANTS OR DENTURES....HMMMMM. This is a good example of misinformed people negating simple facts. God bless yessaid. In fact he himself is one of my closest friends. I also contribute there. But for memberss here, we want to be able to have open discussions like this because we are adults.

We are adults. We are intelligent.

Now we take a look at Unforumzed. Here is a place I won't even go. This is a prime example of extremism. Although from what i hear there is some amazingly generated conversations on there that truly are smart and uncensored the dark side is this rude and crude hating on Tori. Cutting her down caustically to the point of pasting her hed on porn pics...even involving her daughter. The member here would stay away from such negativity. And tori hate/love obsession is just intolerable.

We would prefer to enjoy tori and love her. Not deal with the "she can never do no wrong" fans or the "she is a fake sell out and i am going to tell you why all the time" haters. We are respectful to her and eachother.

There are other great forums of course....The Afterglow, deborah is wonderful....and a new collectors forum coming. But the need for DUALITY AND NEUTRALITY , A TORI CONCEPT REFERENCED ON NOH, IS ADOPTED ON THIS FORUM.

We are open. We are passionate. We respect others. We disagree sometimes but never allow ourselves to take it personally. Opinions can be passionate but not an emotion toward another member.

We believe in peace , bitches.

We are uncensored but mature.

We are capable of making choices. i have password protected the areas that some people may not want to engage in.

Its made and deigned for the thinker. And also the collector.
